Dear Friends...
The concept of The Bubble Music Man and Bubble Parties was started by Rockland DJ and entertainer John Allo to provide additional income to his mobile entertainment business. In 2005, John retired as The Bubble Music Man for health reasons, and began sharing the Bubble Party concept with DJs across the country. I have been very honored to have John select me personally to carry on this exciting concept and have entertained at numberous day care centers, schools and children's parties. In speaking with many of you who have had John perform for you previously, I have always appreciated hearing your concern about John's health.
It saddens me to share with you on November 4th, 2007, John passed away at home. In addition to performing at Bubble Parties, John DJ'ed for many years for weddings, private parties and school dances. He was a very innovative businessman...his DJ entertainment ventures were one of several businesses John started and maintained, including South Shore Weddings (www.southshoreweddings.com), a wedding vendor directory and informational site, and Classic Rock Album Cuts (www.classicrockalbumcuts.com), his very own online radio station. John loved classic rock music. He leaves behind his wife Patty, and three children.
John was my inspiration to become a full time mobile DJ. I can't remember when I first met him, however, he is one of the very few people in this industry I ever looked up to. He was a professional in running his business, and a great friend. John was one of the people who ever taught me the value of developing a personal relationship with my customers. He gave me the encouragement to go full time as a mobile DJ. When I finally did in 1998, he called me from time to time, and was always willing to offer and ear to listen, as well as some very valuable advice to me over the years.
I will never forget the look of disappointment John had the day we met to discuss having me take over for him, and also the look of pride when he asked me to do it. He truly enjoyed performing at Bubble Parties and entertaining children. I am so grateful to John for his support, advice and friendship.
We will be planning events to celebrate John's memory in the near future. Feel free to check back here for information. John had a great relationship with everyone he encountered.
I consider it a honor to have known him, am grateful for his support, friendship and trust, and will miss him more than I could ever express in words.
